Delray Beach Extra Duty Detail Application

Rates:
Regular Rate: $56.38 per hour
Premium (Less than 10 days Notice) / Holiday* Rate: $84.56 per hour
Bar / Drinking Establishment Rate: $76.41 per hour
Out of Jurisdiction Rate: $67.50 per hour

Customers can offer the Premium rate to increase the probability of the detail filling even if the request is 10 or more days away.

There is a 3 hour minimum payment requirement even if hours worked is less than 3. Partial hours shall be recorded and paid in one-quarter hour increments.

24 hours notice is required for cancellations or each officer scheduled will receive a 3 hour minimum.

*Holiday rates will be paid for the following days: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Day, Presidents' Day, Super Bowl Sunday, St. Patrick's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

If any part of a detail begins or ends on one of the listed holidays, the entire detail will be paid at the holiday rate. Example, detail begins at 2100 hours on December 25th and ends at 0600 hours on December 26th, the entire detail will be calculated at the holiday rate.

I have read and understand the Terms of Agreement. I agree to abide by Delray Beach, FL rules, regulations and ordinances should my application be approved. Additionally, I will fulfill the requirements placed upon this application as expressed in the Terms of Agreement.
