Extra Duty Solutions, public safety’s largest and most trusted extra duty administration provider, announced today that Lt. Colonel NJSP (Ret.), Frank Rodgers, has joined the company’s Advisory Board.
Rodgers brings with him over 25 years of law enforcement experience, which culminated in his service as Deputy Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police before he retired and formed his private, public safety consulting and training company, The Rodgers Group.
The direct partnership allows EDS’ administrative services and scheduling software, and The Rodgers Group’s consulting and training programs to gain further national attention from public safety professionals around the world. Both organizations will actively cross-promote and further build lasting relationships across the public safety community.
When asked about the collaboration, Extra Duty Solutions, CEO, Rich Milliman quoted:
“It has been my mission since day one to provide public safety professionals with the most reputable and trusted resources to enhance their operations further. Since founding EDS, I have found value in surrounding myself with well-respected law enforcement veterans who inherit a deep understanding of the public safety industry. By teaming with Frank Rodgers and the Rodgers Group, those relationships have been taken to the next level. Having access to a great mind and leader like Frank is an absolute honor, and we’re thrilled to have him as an extension of our team”.
Rodgers is the 3rd member of the EDS’ Advisory Board, which includes world-renowned public safety instructor and leadership advocate, Paul Butler, and 2017 FBI NAA National President and former Police Chief, Joey Reynolds.
The purpose of the Advisory Board is to ensure that Extra Duty Solutions operates at the highest level of ethical and service standards. By electing the public safety sector’s most decorated and established advocates, Extra Duty Solutions always has an ear to the ground to make sure that they possess a clear understanding of the industry’s latest trends, best practices, and unique needs.
When asked about his roles as the newest member of EDS’ Advisory Board, Rodgers said:
“I look forward to working with the EDS team as they continue to expand the adoption of their products and services around the country. Their solution simplifies all of the challenges and inefficiencies that communities and their police departments face when it comes to managing extra duty employment. At no cost to the taxpayer, EDS is exactly the type of partnership that the community expects the government to leverage to enhance the efficiency and integrity of their public safety apparatus.”
The Rodgers Group assists agencies in the implementation of professional standards, development, and delivery of customized policies and training products, and the examination of business practices to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of public safety services. Their work continues to distinguish them as the largest and most effective accreditation consulting company in the country.
