Expansion Continues with New Operations Center

In support of its annual growth plan, EDS has opened its latest operations center. The newest location will operate as both an IT Development Center and Continuity of Operations (COOP) site in San Antonio, Texas. This will be a co-location with the Jivasoft HQ — the nation’s leading first responder scheduling software firm which EDS purchased last quarter.

The recent company expansion increases EDS’ national presence with core operations centers located in Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, and now Texas.

When asked about the new Texas location, EDS’ Head of Operations, Keith McTigue states:

“Our new operations center give us a contingency location that critical business functions could relocate to in the case of a significant disruption of one, or many, primary locations. The opening of a non-coastal COOP site in Texas ensures that downtime is virtually non-existent, allowing us to continue providing 24/7X365 response, service & support for the public safety sector.”
