When getting gas while he was on his way to work, Officer Fields came around a curve in Prince George County, VA and noticed smoke coming from the tree line. As he approached, he discovered that a car had driven off the side of the road into the trees and the passenger was trapped in the now burning car. He was able to free the driver from the car just before the vehicle was engulfed in flames.
