Officer Bandy and his wife were paddleboarding in the ocean off the coast of Monterey, CA when they heard a swimmer screaming in pain. Bandy paddled out to the man to find that he had just been bitten by a shark and was bleeding profusely. Bandy hoisted the injured swimmer onto his surfboard and paddled him to shore, where EMS was able to tend to his wounds.
