Deputy Blaine Evans

While shopping with his family at a mall in Appleton, WI, Deputy Evans learned that shots had been fired in the food court. On his way to the video surveillance room in hopes of spotting the shooter, he saw that a gunshot victim had fallen onto the sidewalk outside the main entrance and desperately needed assistance. Evans ran to help and was able to stop the gunshot wound from bleeding. He waited with the victim until the paramedics arrived and then provided security until they were out of danger.
