Officer John Kane

When an eight-year-old boy climbed down a rope ladder head first at an amusement park in King of Prussia, PA, he stumbled and got his neck tangled in the rope, cutting off his airway. After park staff cut the boy down from the ladder, Corporal Kane and and Deputy Chief Cooper, both of whom were at the park on their day off, performed CPR on the boy until he started to breathe again.
