Officer Marvin Cawthon

Officer Cawthon was heading to North Little Rock, AR to gather some supplies on his day off when he noticed a car laying on its side in the midst of heavy traffic. He pulled over and when a bystander told him there was a baby trapped inside the car, Cawthon hopped on top of the car, pulled the door off, and helped the mother and baby escape. With no responding officers yet in sight–and still holding the baby–Cawthon set about directing traffic around the accident until responding officers could find their way to the accident site.
