4. How to Enter
Registered Conference attendees may enter by visiting the Giveaway entry station at Booth #1233 or Booth #2461 during the Promotion Period, reviewing these Official Rules, and completing and submitting an official entry form, providing their full legal name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and confirming that they meet the eligibility requirements.
Free method of entry: A Conference ticket is NOT required to enter. Any eligible individual may enter without purchasing a Conference ticket or paying any fee by emailing [email protected] during the Promotion Period and completing the same official entry form. These Official Rules will also be shared via email. Entries received through the free method of entry have the same chance of winning as all other entries.
Limit: One (1) entry per person for the entire Promotion Period, regardless of entry method. Multiple entries, or entries using multiple identities, will be void. Entries submitted by email, mail, social media, or any method other than the official onsite entry form will not be accepted. Incomplete, illegible, or late entries are void.
NO PURCHASE, CONFERENCE TICKET, DONATION, PAYMENT, OR FEE OF ANY KIND IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. Purchasing a Conference ticket does not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.
5. Prizes
Two (2) prizes will be awarded. Each prize is one (1) Glock certificate issued by Glock, Inc. a face value of five hundred U.S. dollars ($500.00) (each, a “Prize”). Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Prize: $500.00. Total ARV is $1,000.
Each Prize is a certificate only; no firearm will be delivered or transferred at the Conference or by Sponsor. The certificate may be redeemed only toward the purchase of a Glock firearm of other eligible Glock products at a participating federally licensed Glock dealer in the winner’s state of residence (participating dealers are located nationwide), subject to the redemption requirements in Section 7 and to the certificate issuer’s terms and conditions. If the price of the item selected exceeds the certificate value, the winner is responsible for paying the difference. Any unused portion of the certificate has no cash value and will not be refunded.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned, or redeemed by anyone other than the winner. No cash redemption or substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize becomes unavailable. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, or expired certificates after delivery, or for any firearm obtained by redeeming a certificate, which is subject only to any manufacturer’s warranty.
GLOCK is a registered trademark of Glock, Inc. Glock, Inc. is not a sponsor of this Giveaway.
6. Winner Selection, Notification, and Prize Delivery
There are two (2) chances to win. On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. ET, Extra Duty Solutions will conduct a random drawing at each of their IACP booths (Booth #1233 and Booth #2461) from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, regardless of entry method, and will select two (2) potential winners. Limit: one (1) Prize per person. The decisions of Sponsor regarding the drawing and all matters related to the Giveaway are final and binding.
Entrants need not be present at the drawing to win. Each potential winner will be notified by telephone and email using the contact information provided on the entry form.
Prizes will not be awarded at the Conference.
A potential winner will be disqualified and that Prize forfeited if he or she (a) is found to be ineligible; or (b) otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules. In that event, Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.
7. Redemption, Background Check, and Firearm Transfer
Any firearm obtained by redeeming a Prize certificate will be transferred only by a federally licensed firearms dealer (“FFL”) and only in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Under federal law, a handgun may be transferred only by an FFL located in the winner’s state of residence. Sponsor does not transfer firearms and will not facilitate any transfer that violates any law. To redeem a certificate for a firearm, the winner must:
- Appear in person with the certificate at a participating FFL located in the winner’s state of residence;
- Complete ATF Form 4473 and present valid government-issued photo identification;
- Pass all required background checks, conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System and/or the winner’s state point-of-contact agency (for Florida residents, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement);
- Satisfy all requirements of the winner’s state and locality, including any permit, license, or firearm owner identification card; any waiting period (for Florida residents, the waiting period under § 790.0655, Fla. Stat., and any applicable county ordinance); and any restriction on the models or features of firearms that may be sold in that state; and
- Pay any applicable sales tax, background check fee, and FFL fees, and any amount by which the purchase price exceeds the certificate value.
If a winner is denied by a background check, does not meet the requirements of his or her state, or is otherwise legally unable to receive a firearm, the winner will not receive a firearm, and neither Sponsor nor the certificate issuer will provide cash or other compensation. The FFL’s decision on whether to complete a transfer is final.
8. Taxes
Each winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with his or her Prize, and for any sales tax due at redemption. Because each Prize has an ARV of $500.00, Sponsor does not anticipate that a Form 1099-MISC will be required for this Giveaway, but each winner may be required to provide a valid Social Security or taxpayer identification number if one becomes required.
9. Compliance with Laws
Each entrant and winner is solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances regarding participation in the Giveaway and the purchase, possession, transport, and use of firearms. Sponsor assumes no liability or responsibility for any violation of such laws by any entrant or winner.
10. Safety and Responsibility
Sponsor strongly emphasizes safe and responsible firearm ownership. Each winner is solely responsible for handling, storing, transporting, carrying, and using any firearm obtained with a Prize safely and lawfully, including complying with Florida’s safe-storage law regarding minors (§ 790.174, Fla. Stat.), following all manufacturer safety instructions, and obtaining appropriate training in the safe handling and use of firearms.
11. Release of Liability
BY ENTERING THE GIVEAWAY, EACH ENTRANT, ON BEHALF OF HIMSELF OR HERSELF AND HIS OR HER HEIRS, EXECUTORS, AND ASSIGNS, RELEASES, DISCHARGES, AND AGREES TO HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, IACP, FFL, GLOCK, INC., AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, INJURIES (INCLUDING DEATH), LOSSES, AND EXPENSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO (A) PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY; (B) THE ACCEPTANCE, REDEMPTION, OR USE OF ANY PRIZE, OR THE TRANSFER, POSSESSION, STORAGE, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY FIREARM OR PRODUCT OBTAINED WITH A PRIZE; OR (C) ANY DENIAL OR DELAY OF A BACKGROUND CHECK OR TRANSFER, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RELEASED PARTY. THIS RELEASE DOES NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT OF A RELEASED PARTY, OR TO ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE RELEASED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
12. Publicity Consent
Except where prohibited by law, by entering the Giveaway and accepting a Prize, each winner expressly consents to Sponsor’s use of his or her name, city and state of residence, photograph, and statements about the Giveaway, in any media now known or later developed, including email and social media, for advertising and promotional purposes related to the Giveaway, without further notice, review, or compensation. This consent is given pursuant to § 540.08, Fla. Stat.
13. Personal Information
Personal information collected on entry forms will be used by Sponsor to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, contact the winner, and fulfill the Prizes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Extra Duty Solutions Privacy Policy: https://extradutysolutions.com/privacy-policy/. Â Information collected on ATF Form 4473 and for background-check purposes is collected and maintained by the FFL and FDLE as required by law; it is not collected, retained, or used by Sponsor.
14. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning in each drawing depend on the number of eligible entries included in that drawing.
15. Disqualification and Sponsor Rights
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Official Rules, provides false or misleading information, tampers with the entry process, or acts in a disruptive, harassing, or unlawful manner. If the Giveaway cannot be conducted as planned because of fraud, technical failure, Conference cancellation, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor may, to the extent permitted by Florida law, conduct the drawing from among eligible entries received before the disruption.
In accordance with § 849.094, Fla. Stat., these Official Rules will not be changed after the Promotion Period begins, and Sponsor will award both Prizes as described in these Official Rules.
16. Social Media Disclaimer
The Giveaway is promoted through email and social media, but entry is available only in person at the Conference venue, as described in Section 4. No Conference ticket is required to enter. The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., X, TikTok, or any other social media platform. Entrants release each such platform from all liability related to the Giveaway.
17. Governing Law and Venue
The Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from the Giveaway shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
