Two Key Promotions for Extra Duty Solutions’ Leadership

We are proud to announce two key leadership promotions aimed at strengthening client relationships and enhancing product innovation.

James Starkes was recently appointed Director of Product, bringing a strategic vision to EDS’ evolving suite of services. Since joining EDS in 2024, Starkes has demonstrated a strong ability to drive innovation and operational excellence. With a career spanning multiple industries, his expertise in product development and cross-functional leadership will be instrumental in refining and expanding EDS’ offerings to meet market demands.

Stacey Kerney has also been promoted to Director of Client Development, in recognition of her outstanding contributions over the last few years. With 20 years spent in law enforcement, including roles as a supervisor, trainer, and negotiator, Kerney brings invaluable expertise to her new role. She holds a BA in Psychology and Criminology from NC State University, a master’s degree in law enforcement administration from Methodist University, and is a graduate of the West Point Leadership Academy. 

Her experience as an executive leadership trainer in the corporate sector further enhances her ability to foster strong client relationships. Stacey will lead efforts to expand the company’s industry footprint while ensuring agencies receive exceptional support and service.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role and continue working with such a dedicated team,” said Kerney. “Building and strengthening relationships with our clients is my top priority, and I look forward to enhancing the value we provide.”
