After overhearing dispatch request assistance for a driver who had gotten caught in a flash flood, Deputy Holt, who was driving around on his day off, raced to the site. There, he found the driver trapped by floodwaters and almost drowning. He ran into the water and pulled her from her car, then helped to bring her safely to higher ground.
