Deputy William Bankston

Deputy Bankston was on his way home from work in Baton Rouge, LA when he saw a car hit the side of a bridge, go airborne, and then literally split in half. The driver’s side of the car landed under the bridge in the river, pinning the driver under water. Bankston pulled over, extricated the unconscious driver from the car, and resuscitated him. He then waited until the paramedics arrived.
