While driving around Toms River, NJ on his day off, Officer Stack and his girlfriend witnessed a car swerve out of control and drive into a light pole. While Stack’s girlfriend called 911, he and a couple of bystanders pulled over to find that the elderly driver was injured and now lay unconscious at the wheel. Although the doors were locked, the good samaritans were able to pull a slightly opened window down enough to unlatch the lock and open the door. Stack then performed CPR on the elderly man until paramedics arrived.
