In Lynchburg, VA a woman became trapped inside her car after it flipped over and was engulfed in flames. Fortunately, three off-duty law enforcement officers just happened to be driving by. Concerned that the car would blow up, Lynchburg Police Officer Veliz stopped, approached the car, and when he found the driver unconscious, began wrestling her out of her seat. It was then that Lynchburg Sheriff’s Sergeant Hudson and VA State Trooper Herrera also stopped and ran over to help. Together, the trio was able to successfully extract the unconscious driver from her burning vehicle, saving the woman’s life.
